I've seen regions 2 box sets of the expanse fairly cheap. Something to pick up
If you’re a science geek, you’d like The Expanse - e.g. ships that need to flip over and do a breaking burn - some fantastical elements of course - otherwise it would not be SCI-FI, but all rooted in reality, and humans as fractured and tribal as they ever were.
On that note, I still cannot believe we have not seen Alastair Reynolds’ “Revelation Space” books turned into something like The Expanse. It is crying out for it.
