Hello,
I already fixed 2 preamps for different Yamaha APX6 guitars.
The electrolytic capacitors in IC1 pcb will start to leak electrolyte and will fall from the pcb.
Most of the APX6 around have this problem already and I'm sure the one that still don't have will soon fail also.
As Yamaha doesn't service this preamps and have no replacements parts for the electronics in this guitar I made a simple Guide to help APX6 user to be able to fix their guitar.
