Keyboard control affects almost all controllers, not only the keys. A notable exception is the SuperKnob. If the SuperKnob controls the global assignable knobs, and some of these knobs are mapped to part-assignable knobs, and the SuperKnob controls these part-assignable knobs regardless whether keyboard control is turned on or off. That means you can try using the SuperKnob for controlling the rotary speed.Just got a MODX6+ as the main brain for my live keyboard rig. Several tunes could benefit from a second keyboard - using a Keystation 61 MK3 for that. The easiest setup seems to be putting a single sound on Part 1 and turning off keyboard control so that the Keystation triggers it.
It appears to expect all control to come from that keyboard. I'd like to be able to setup FootSwitch 2 to control the Leslie effect, but that does not seem to work if the organ sound is being controlled by the other keyboard.
Another alternative: Keep keyboard control enabled, go to Part / Zone Settings, turn Zone on, and change the upper note limit to C-2. This way, the keys of the MODX will no longer control part 1, however, all other controllers will still control part 1.
