I agree, we are being used for commercial purposes by Facebook.
Saul, this might help, its an add-on compatible with many browsers. I am reluctantly on Facebook, but this little program helps me eliminate most of the detritus (crap) that we are being force-fed. I still can't seem to eliminate the obnoxious "reels and videos" that constantly poke their ugly little heads up, but I probably just don't know how to filter that one out-it has removed just about everything else, except posts from my friends and family, and i clean my page up just about every day so it only takes me about 5-10 minutes to look over whatever is there-mostly now my musician friends and a few other friends/family I've chosen. It's a bit of a complex program-but it works, at least in Firefox which I am using now. Keeps everything else out.
