Yamaha DX & TX Forum • DX11: Specific Keys are louder than the rest - issue

I finally finished restoring my DX11, both plastic side ends were broken in shipping and quite possibly the Power Supply board also on that same hit.

THE GOOD
- Power Supply Board: It was cracked, and I soldered all the traces that were affected, the DX11 woke up. (Y)

- Pitch Bend / Mod Wheel: these were loose and full of grime... cleaned up and re-aligned and tightened. (Y)

- Side Ends: I attempted glueing the screw posts that were crushed, and while it did work, they feel flimsy at best, so I decided to re-make them out of wood... using the cheapest pieces of poplar I found at the Big Home Improvement store... to see if I could do it, which involved some very "precise" routing to make them fit... (attaching pics didn't work, if I find a way to post them somewhere, I will share here)... the color was "achieved" by using food coloring stain... I was trying to match the printing on the synth and cartridge labels. I will in the future attempt to remake them out of Mahogany, which I already sourced... but the amount of work it took these first ones, I will try to enjoy these prototypes... before I engage on that rabbit hole again... (Y)

- Battery: I added a Battery Holder and of course a new battery, all good. (Y)

- Loaded all the factory presets, and system setup from files found at SysExdb, everything seemed to be working fine... (Y)

THE ISSUE
- On "Some Presets", and "All Performances", I notice that all C#, D, G, G# across the key bed are louder than the rest, and reading through the manuals User and Service, and I can't find (or understand) a setting(s) that would account for this behavior...

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated...
