Hi Javelin,I got too frustrated and I've sent the first Gotek back, it wasn't the same model number as you guys and only had 2 digits on the readout. I ordered another one. The new one is at least talking to the USB stick now using the Gotek software where the first one wouldn't. I haven't soldered on a set of header pins, so I haven't jumpered it and loaded FlashFloppy yet, that's next. I did try it out with the Gotek software, but the DX7 says Disk Read Error even with a 720k IMA from WinImage loaded in slot 000 and slot 001.
I'm back on shift work, so I'll make another attempt on Friday with FlashFloppy loaded on.
seems you have the correct format, but the disk error could be a problem becauseof the missing one connection maybe:
From my first post:
Important:
@Gotek put a Jumper on S0 and M0
Take care and do not forget to put CHGRST Signal (pin 1 on DX7 floppy cable), to PA14 (JTCK/SWCLK). Just cut the cable which goes to pin1 of Gotek and put it only on JTCK/SWCLK -> Red marked in Picture
Have you done that?
