Yamaha Montage and Montage M Forum • Re: a few more questions

These are all great responses and I thank you all.
As for the big decision: I am no longer gigging and am retired. So time is a big asset. From the responses here's what I've learned and conclusions I've drawn:
1. The Genos 2 would sound "better", that is, fuller because of its accompaniment styles. It is much easier to play that fuller filled sound on an arranger like Genos 2.
2. You can't actually duplicate the styles of a Genos 2 on the Montage M because the accompaniments are articulated and it's as if you had many more musicians playing at the same time.
3. You can have more fills and changes on the M by using scenes and arp changes.
4. You can manually insert more instruments of your choosing into a performance in the M up to the instruments limits.
5. The Genos 2 styles can be altered, but not to the extent they can on a Montage.

Please let me know if those points are correct. Again, thanks in advance for your expert knowledge (and opinions!)
