I am not a Genos user, and I can not say much about it.1. Ok, I'm playing a style on the Genos 2. I've edited the voices and their parameters. I'm playing a song...I want to play the bridge or improvise the melody (into jazz somewhat). On my Motif XS7 I just choose a different arp which I've already programmed. How do I do that on the Genos 2?
2. How many of these "changes" can I make?
3. Can I have the changes use a different "arp" as I can on the Motif?
4. Lastly, I'm assuming that to do this on the new Montage, it would be the same as on the Motif. Is this true or does the Montage have certain "abilities" the Motif does not?
AFAIK, a Genos style consists of 3 intros, 4 main variations, 4 fills, 1 break and 3 endings.
Regarding arranger functionality, the Montage is very similar to the Motif XS. As mentioned before, the main improvements are:
- 8 instead of 4 parts with arpeggios,
- 8 instead of 5 scenes,
- 8 dedicated buttons for switching between scenes instead of the 5 multi-purpose buttons on the Motif XS.
