I was surprised when I saw this in my FB feed last night. The festival I played at last year was recorded, and in return for some free CDs of my set, the record company promoting the festival got to have one track from each band for a compilation LP, which has just had a limited vinyl release, and here is the review by Jeff Penczak's for Shindig!

OK, they referred to me in the plural as Space Rockers! And missed an s off the name, but at this point in life I'll lap up any credit! :)

Also I have been meaning for a long time to publish the photos from my solo gig back in March. Yikes was it really six months ago?! 8O 8O 8O

Obviously, a balding 60 something is not the best at being photogenic, so hope you focus on the visuals! :D

It's funny how all the photos had me playing the Montage/Kronos in front of me, but I was playing the other boards as well! From bottom to top to the side of me is the ASM Hydrasynth Deluxe Novation Summit and Sequential Prophet X. At my feet is my ever trusty Roland FC300 MIDI foot controller, sixteen years old and going strong!

The photos were taken by a pro photographer in the audience and show off the DMX lights and video pretty well, which were interacting with how I played. The small screen above the Kronos is a Touch Screen for the small notebook computer in the rack between the keys that is running Cantabile, and the laptop on top of the racks is running the Visual Syntherizer, connected to the gig PC via a network and RtPMIDI.
