The PSR-SX900 is sold out on the Yamaha.com website but you can still purchase the SX700. If the past is prologue Yamaha should release PSR-SX successors soon. Yamaha usually waits about a year or so after releasing its new flagship arranger successor i.e. Genos2, before releasing a new mid-range arranger successor. I think they might be called the PSR-SX970/SX770 but we'll see. It would be nice if Yamaha put some S.Art2 voices in their mid-range arrangers this time around. A larger screen perhaps? A sub-display perhaps? A more powerful speaker system? A better keybed would also be nice. Such as the FSX keybed that's on the Genos/2 or at least something better than the current keybed. Yamaha is likely putting the pedal to the metal on the new PSR SX series as they ramp up production and ready for distribution. After the rollout of the new SX series, Yamaha's Arranger division will probably focus most of its attention on the design, layout, and production of the Genos3. It might roll out sometime in 2026 since there's currently no global pandemic to worry about and the supply chain crisis is getting better from what I understand.
