We all use intro/outro (if at all) differently, which mostly depends on the song(s) that we play. Some songs simply need some intro and when that's the case, I try to make it as short as possible.. in sense: and intro should be just that and nothing more.
However.. in case if wish to play some songs exactly as original, it can easily happen that intro is 16+ bars and in this case it does look strange if player is meditating during intro.
But as I said, that's not Yamaha's keyboard limitation -it's players choice. We can not expect to play all kind of songs with preset styles as they are; we can and should modify styles to our liking -so we don't sound like "typical Yamaha" player.
