Genos2 = 14.2kg (31.5lb)
SX920/720 = 11,6kg (25.6lb)
-that's not really half the weight; I would say, the difference is rather small -unless you also count external speakers that you need on Genos2.
I'm pretty sure that you can not use Geno2 backup on SX920/720.
