I disassembled the complete SY77 today. Also need to completely disassemble the keybed and clean some contacts. Seems there is some water damage there (?) but the fact that all keys still work make me hopeful (The first octave seems to be intermittent). But everything needs a very good clean.
Previous owner had changed the battery (bad hack in there will have to undo) and obviously the drive belt, since this is working and two screws are missing from the drive assembly![Evil or Very Mad :evil:]()
I am at least happy he had not attempted any deeper repair, I think it would have made the whole thing useless.
How would one go replacing the switches under these caps?
