He's right, it does behave that way... if you let go of all keys, and hold sustain. And he's right, the previous board don't do that.
He's wrong about G2 though... it does the same thing; it's been out for almost 11 months, and nobody's even noticed until now, so I'm not sure how "huge" an issue it is (the thing is, it holds any keys you were holding down, even after voice shutoff, which is probably why nobody has noticed on G2)
I'm updating my sx920 to v1.10 firmware to see if that still happens, but since the G2 that's been out for nearly a year still has this issue, I assume that nobody was even aware of this until now.
Incidentally, I just tried on Genos 1 and DGX670 as well, and they sustain after voice switchoff, like he said.
I also tried it on PA5x, and guess what? it has the same "huge" issue (air quotes because that's been out since June of 2022, and *nobody* has noticed yet)... the voice suddenly cut off even while I'm sustaining if I suddenly turn off Right1 as well
*EDIT* no it's actually *worse* on Pa5x: on the G2 and sx920, any notes I hold will still continue playing even after I shut off the voice, as he describes in his video for previous generation while holding sustain. But on Pa5x, while holding the keys, if I shut off Right1? the abruptly sound cuts off completely.
So I'm not sure how "huge" it is, but he is correct, previous generation didn't behave this way, but current generation (including Korg!) *all* behave this way.
