I have the Yamaha CVP-709 voice files, and when I owned the PSR-SX900, I experimented with them, and I was surprised by how many new voices worked in the much less advanced PSR-SX900. For example, there were suitcase EPs based on the same waveform but with distinct effects that sounded lovely. And I remember Saloon Piano (now I have it on the SX920) sounding perfectly like a Saloon piano. A lot of voices brought silence when I pressed the keys - like the S.A.2 voices and many of the SA1 voices. It all boils down to whether both keyboards share the same waveform.
