Hello there,
I have glaldy revived my SY77 installing a USB floppy drive emulator which works great and is easy to carry and use when not at home in the studio.
I haven't gotten my head around how to extract and recompose those virtual SY files and disk images to my liking, though.
Having said that, a native file EDITOR TXX, JXX type should come handy to extract various untapped resources (like those midi or sysex files) to edit and save as new floppy images rather than dumping and saving through my SY77.
Would the sy.factory software be capable of doing that (i.e. reading midi, sysex or native file format and exporting as native file format?
Any other software that might ? Seems like most legacy librarians no longer are supported by Win PCs...
Thanks much.
Cheers
