The truth is you won’t be able to grasp what can be done by the demos. Not until you get the whole thing on your system will it be apparent. If you don’t have the Montage M then it’s moot. Like anything it comes down to the individuals creative direction and imagination. There is so much available it is sort of odd that there’s really any question. All these musings seem so one direction and close minded.Personally, I will expect from anx engine it can provide more expressive sounds like you can get in some app like animoog or ppg infinite that are suppose to emulate analog, it could be done, maybe, with programming the anx in the proper way but unfortunately I don’t heard these kind of sounds in this easysound demo, but I don’t listen all, their demo are a little long and make me asleep, I will do that later when have time for that, they certainly do a good job but everybody have they own needs and I am not attracted by the sounds of seventies even I was a big fan of tangerine dream. I will go to pick up your “vangelis” patch in soundmodo if I didn’t already.
I really don’t understand this back and forth on every Montage M post about how it stacks up (or more, how it doesn’t stack up) against the previous Montage or some other keyboard or Soft Synth with some of the same features. It really just seems to me that these people are just trying to make themselves OK with what they already own. Which is perfectly normal, I just don’t see the need to constantly talk in this regressive manner. It seems like it would be better to make a separate thread about how the “Montage M is underwhelming and not worth the money” than clutter every thread with these digressions and very subjective comments. Then everyone can complain there.
Honestly after a year it’s getting old and tiresome.
