Hi,
with the rm1x on the first time to format floppy disk (only with 2HD and/or 2DD)
1. Insert the floppy disk you wish to format into the RM1x's floppy drive.
2. Press the function control key [F4] (FOR-MAT!).
The RM1x displays the confirmation message “Are you sure? (Yes/No)”, asking you to confirm your choice.
3. Press the [YES +1] key to perform the format operation, or the [NO -1] key to cancel it.
While the floppy disk is formatting, the RM1x displays an “Executing” bar graph indicating the duration of the operation.
