It amazes me how you can draw an arc between King Crimson and Emmerson, Lake and Palmer, to Bucks Fizz!
I mean from "21st Century Schizoid Man" and elements of "Karn Evil Nine" to "Making your mind up"!
And along the way, writing the lyrics to Greg Lake's seminal (and cynical) crimbo classic "I believe in Father Christmas", and Leo Sayer's "Have you ever been in love?" (one of the greatest love songs ever in my opinion).
He also produced Roxy Music and PFM amongst other things.
