If you, for exmaple, have an AWM2 single part performance having 128 elements all sounding at once and polyphony is equal to 128 then you could only play a single note at once. Correct?

So although having the ability to use 128 elements (I understand not all sound at once) still limits polyphony in exactly the same way as if you still only could have 8 elements per part and you had 16 parts playing at once.

It just allows you to cram more of the same limitation (128 note AWM2 poly) into less performance space or call it consolidation.

Can we not copy the AWM2 internal ROM into the AWM2 user memory (I guess the size is different) and essentially double the polyphony as each get 128 independently? Basically using the user AWM2 location for doubling resource for people who aren't ever going to be loading custom waveforms into the M. I'll have to learn how to do this as I assume the user memory is currently empty.

Is there a simple internal transfer technique for example; select your preset waveform and copy it into user slot number 1 and so forth?
