Although I'm not an expert on vintage classical guitars I've gathered a lot on information on vintage Yamahas over the years.
A RX-3 isn't mentioned anyhere I'm afraid. A label with the name of the luthiers is a good sign. Yamaha used that on hand build custom shop guitars. A custom shop for classical guitars was started in 1966 so a 1971 guitars could be build there.
Never seen an X used in these years. The R was used by Yamaha for "requinto" what would mean the guitar is somewhat smaller than a normal classical guitar. They made these requinto guitars in the custom shop. But I assume yours is of normal size.
Hope someone else can give more info.
