I don't look for more styles and voices in particular, I look at the "buttons" - what features does it give me (did they take any away?) and how do I operate them. How will I use them? After that, improved keybed, sound capability.Hi Guys :
Most of us have a different point of view as far as arrangers are concerned.
If one is buying a new arranger he/she is hoping new styles and voices are better than ever before.
But .. is that enough ? I do not think so.
Jeff
Yamaha support is fantastic so styles, voices etc are available to personalise our keyboards to suit how we like to use them. I remember when what you bought was what you got, no way of adding or improving what it did, these modern keyboards are fantastic in comparison.
I like arrangers for what they do, or what I can do with them, and voices have reached, even passed, a level I am happy to live with. Unless the next keyboard has features I can't yet fathom I'll be happy with the SX720 forever.... maybe
Would I swap the keybed of the T4 for the synchro start multipads and the chord looper on my 720? Probably not, though a decent keybed holds great appeal for me. It's never easy
