To: Bogdan H: I really appreciate your input. But I did not understand much of your terminology. Just to clarify, when I "record" my song, the first thing I do is record the accompaniment using one of the styles I have. (I use the mixing console) After doing that, I choose an instrument to record the melody for track 1. With this one, I deleted one of the tracks to the accompaniment (track 13), and then recorded my own accompaniment notes using the solid tremelo guitar. Before I start playing it, I choose "Effect type" on the console where a new screen pops up. On the right side of the screen, I can select one of the tremelo options.
I then play a few notes with it to see if it is what I want. If it is, then I hit exit and go through the recording process using the mixing console (hitting the record button) ,focusing only on that track. After I hit the record button, I then hit play to hear my accompaniment, and I play the tremelo guitar as it plays and records. It sounds fine, but when I play it back, the tremelo either disappears completely or halfway through the song.
I do not record any midi files at all. And I don't use style creator because I am not creating a new style. I hope this clears up what I am asking.
