there is a serie of very informative Korg Pa5X videos at the page linked here, and if you havent already seen those, it may give you a great input if you have time to take a look before your next visit to the shop.

I had Pa4X a couple of months before I got the Pa5X, and the Pa4X interface was a nightmare compared to Pa5X in my opinion.
That said, I was completely new at both..
