Greetings,
Montage 6
Is it possible to have multiple ARPs within a performance play in sync with each other regardless of when each one is triggered?
After researching this forum and experimenting I believe the answer to be NO. Each ARP starts when it is triggered. But now I’m not sure!
Example: Hungry Like the Wolf
I am using three ARPs
1) User ARP to use as a CLICK track out AssignR to the drummer.
2) User ARP with Hand Claps
3) ARP for chord arpeggios
My goal is to start the click track first then bring in the other two ARPs on the down beat.
I accomplished this by setting all ARPs to HOLD and having all three ARPs set to trigger/start simultaneously from the same keys. Then I start the song by playing the first chord with everything Muted except the Click track. Then I bring in the other ARPs using Scene buttons to UnMute the other ARPs. I am new to using ARPs in live performance however I used this in a show this past weekend and it worked quite well.
Is there an easier way?
Just wondering before I get too deep in this, am I approaching this correctly? Any guidance appreciated!
