Hi all, back again with another question I spend 3 hours trying to figure it out.
I use an IPAD to trigger program changes. This worked very easy on my Roland FA06. I use the Onsong app (it does not really matter which app). As soon I choose a song title it automatically send PC to the Roland. The code I used is: midi: MSB.LSB:PC
Now this won’t work on my Montage M unfortunately no matter which combination I use. Changing : into a dot, using HEX. 66.0.0 should work. Onsong automaticly makes it "66.0:0". Can someone give me a correct code to trigger a slot in a user liveset? It can also be a problem in the Montage settings.
What I did:
Connect Ipad with camera adapter to the USB-to-host input in the Montage.
In Utilities > Settings > Midi i/o
- Change midi i/o to USB
- receive and transmit are ON
- Midi i/o channel is 1
In utilities > Settings > Advances
- Bank select and Pgm Change are ON
- Tried both USB drivers Vendor and Generic (restart)
I downloaded the datalist of the Montage M but I just don’t understand it. It should be a simple MSB.LSB:PC code right?
