I recently had a PreSonus Eris Sub in my home studio and while it sounded great, I did not have balanced inputs on the speakers I used at that time (iLoud Micro Monitor) and I always had problem with a humming grounding noise comming from the subwoofer, which I suspect was caused by using unbalanced inputs.

I have a SX720 and a PreSonus Eris Sub 8BT connected with a cheap (12 Euro) 2.7m cinch to jack cable. I don't hear any ground noise coming from the sub woofer.

Also, the new model have bluethooth which my old sub didn't. Will that be of any use if the speakers are connected with cables? Can I connect my phone to the subwoofer vua bluthooth and stream music through both the subwoofer and the speakers or will it only be through the subwoofer?
