As I said, the *average* price is the same. Nobody is getting 'shafted' by Yamaha or Korg or Roland. I just thought it was interesting that the avg price is the same; but the sx700 was more here, and the sx900 was slightly less. But not enough to make it worth shipping one. As I've stated multiple times, it's *always* best to get one from your country's authorized dealer, as warranty doesn't cross borders either.Thanks Saul and Bogdan for your reply !
I was not aware the US increased their 720 price. Sorry.
I just checked the present, local enduser prices ,- all incl. - in my country ( The Netherlands ) :
720 = € 1195,--
920 = € 2029,--

We never *increased* the sx720 price. It was the same exact price as the sx700. sx900 was the same price (sx920 launched at the same price as well)
Saul is 100%. VAT, varying taxes, exchange rate.

sx720 € 1422
sx920 € 2032
You can see why sx700/sx900 aren't as popular over here. Relatively speaking, not much difference in price ; like I said in my post, about 7:10 (in EU, sx700/sx900 was nearly 5:10! with your prices going down (ours haven't btw) it's now close to 6:10). That's why I expect more people in Europe to buy sx720, but more in NA to buy the sx920 (historically in NA, we always sell many more of the top vs the lower PSR professional series)
Please don't read one line of a post and try to extrapolate without reading the entirety!
Even I'm at a loss where you got the € 600 euro lower price;
I *did* say that was there's only a € 600 *difference* in price between the 2 models here, and there *was* nearly € 1000 difference there.
If you take 2032-600 you get 610. Our prices haven't changed since launch.
At launch in EU, it was € 1195, € 2095, which is nearly 2:1
So of course more people in EU buy the sx720.
