Oops yeah you're right, I must've hit "find" twice, it jumped to tux's list which had the 133, not the op1. Yours at the top, does, my bad!
The TE EP–133 K.O. II is not on my list. The OP1 is.
There are significant differences between countries/regions. An obvious example is Nord, which is much cheaper in Europe than it is in North America. I know basically nothing about the Canadian market. However, I can use some easily available data from Sweetwater to get an idea of their sales ranks. If I assume that the number of reviews is approximately proportional to the number of sold units, then I can pick some of the previously mentioned products, take the number of reviews, the duration it has been available, and attribute the reviews proportional to the period since Jan 2024. With that, I get the following Sweetwater ranking:This ranking favors products that have available for the longest time (e.g. Yamaha MODX8+), because sales usually decline over time.
- Moog Muse
- Nord Stage 4 88
- Yamaha CK88
- Behringer UB-Xa
- Yamaha MODX8+
Muse hasn't even arrived here yet (our first shipment has been on order since June of 2024, still hasn't shown up!)
Nord Stage sold a *ton* before the price increase. But apparently $8k is too much to ask for a one (here); like I said, sales dropped off a cliff after that.
CK88 *does* sell a ton here; with us it's lumped in with stage pianos, which is the biggest category by far for 'pro keys'. And same as us then; the Modx8+ far outsells all other workstations
Behinger: we won't bring in until they have a local warranty repair again; so nothing since 2018 or so.
