I bought the FC7 expression pedal for my M08. It works fine as a volume pedal. I have read the manual etc. There are no tutorials on it's setup that I can find. I followed the instructions in the manual. I wanted it to control the modulation. I was able to do that but is still acting as a volume pedal so when you back off the modulation you lose the volume. Also I noticed that although it controls the modulation it doesn't act like the mod wheel. Instead of introducing the modulation slowly and increasing as you rotated the modwheel, it just introduce the modulation at full speed. I am ninety nine percent sure this is all due to operator error and I need some help. Thanx to anyone in advance that can help me out. I have been through the ringer with Yamaha support on this to no avail. They keep giving me instructions for a Motif and when I point out in both manuals that they are different it makes no difference.
