Seamless Sound Switching (SSS) on the MODX/MODX+ is limited to performances with at most 4 parts. My performances often contain more than 4 parts, and at the moment, I am not sure if it is worth trying to cram them into 4 parts to get SSS. I also took a look at some commercially available performances for cover songs, and they also use more than 4 parts.
I wonder who is using the MODX/MODX+ for live gigs with SSS, and who is using it live without SSS because of the need for more parts? If you are using it with SSS, do you usually only use a few parts (e.g. piano + pad), or do you often have to compromise to make it work with 4 parts?
