The USB audio interface on the Genos2 is: 44.1 kHz, 32 bit, stereo. The vocal harmonizer on the Genos2 is the exact same one on big brother Genos i.e., VH2. Perhaps Yamaha will finally put in a new VH3 in the Genos3 when it arrives on the scene in three or four years, hopefully. The VH2 unit started with the Tyros4 which was released in October 2010. Yamaha is around 10 years behind computer technology advancement in many cases. That's why Yamaha most notably only provides USB 2.0 spec on most of their audio gear and keyboards. USB 2.0 has been obsolete for 15 years. The current USB spec is USB 4.0 (USB4). USB4 is based on the Thunderbolt 3 protocol specification, which Intel had contributed to the USB-IF, but is aligned with the Thunderbolt 4 specification. USB4 has a transfer rate of 80 Gbit/s (10 GB/s) and the Connector is: USB-C. OTOH, USB 2.0 has a maximum throughput of 480Mb/s but real world speed is often much slower. A real Dinosaur that is basically dead and buried, except kept alive by a few keyboard manufacturers, etc., who think change is something you put in your pocket.
