(1) Preset performances on the Montage can not be deleted or modified.I love my Motif where all the Perf's [purchased 2nd hand] came with pre-loaded arps. I recently purchased a 2nd hand Montage and immediately noticed that there are no preset arps for any of the performances. Is this how it comes from the factory? Or did the previous owner erase them all? And if so can I get them back by initialising the factory setting? And if so how do I do it?
(2) Consider installing the most recent firmware version for the Montage, because some firmware updates also added additional preset performances.
(3) All 512 Motif XF (factory) performances are available for the Montage. AFAIK they are part of the most recent firmware update. If not, you can download them from https://usa.yamaha.com/products/music_p ... loads.html and install them as a library. They should be basically identical to how they were on the Motif XF.
(4) On the Montage everything is a performance. The vast majority of performances on the Montage are like voices on the Motif XF, and similar to how it was on the Motif XF, most of them do not have arpeggios enabled by default. There are some (new) performances on the Montage that are similar to the style of performances on the Motif XF. For example in the category Musical FX/Electronic.
