However, since nobody replied so far, let me pitch an alternative: If you already use an iPad with your MODX, then you might be able to use a regular foot switch that is connected to the MODX in combination with an iPad app to achieve the desired effect. I did a quick experiment with the free version of KeyStage Lite, and I was able to switch between 2 scenes (momentarily). My understanding is that the full version has a lot more features, and I can imagine that it could do what you need. If not, there might be other iPad apps.I'm wondering if anybody out there uses a midi foot pedal unit to change scenes on the MODX.
I've seen that the Behringer FCB1010 can do it, but wondering about cheaper ones like the M VAVE Chocolate?
I do something similar. Instead of an iPad, I use a DIY solution that consists of a Raspberry Pi Zero. I mentioned it in viewtopic.php?t=20387. For someone who already uses an iPad, using an iPad app is probably a much simpler solution.
