Would love people's thoughts on this. I've played a MODX7 for 4+ years now in a covers band and just plain love it, it covers most everything I need and with some Narf Sounds samples it sounds brilliant. Yesterday I pulled the trigger on a MODX7+ a friend was selling for a reasonable price so I now have both the older and current model.
My question: I usually have a two board rig, MODX7 on the bottom and an Arturia Keylab Mk 2 on top using Mainstage. I'm thinking for redundancy and reliability of moving to a dual MODX rig, but I still struggle with one thing only: the organ sounds. I know I can grab some great organs via plugins, but I'm actually interested if any MODX users have discovered third party MODX organ sounds they love? I just like having the option of everything on-board, but if not I'll go to Mainstage for organs.
