I believe you need to change just this setting:

Press [UTILITY]
Touch “Settings” > “Quick Setup”
Touch Quick Setup 2: “ARP REC on DAW”:

Essentially you want the individual arp notes to be sent via MIDI, this is what is done by this setting.
