I had forgotten about that post. Yes it does sound like exactly the same issue you are experiencing. The original poster never came back to say if the issue was solve or he just gave up and went to another brand, which is what I would advise.
I don't think this is a guitar issue. It seems to be something about this particular model of amp.
I would have given up and gone for something like the Positive Grid Spark or more likely the NUX Mighty Air Wireless or NUX Mighty Space.
I know that is not ideal if you have a preference for the THR but sometimes, if you want to concentrate on making music rather than fighting the tech you just have to move on![👍]()
