If you want to be able to adjust/control velocity ranges on the Montage and not have it only play at a specific range within the multisample itself (i.e. 127 only), then in SampleRobot set the velocity 'Range' of the Multisamples under the Export tab from First 0 to Last 127. This defines the velocity mapping. I am guessing you may have had this set to First 127 to Last 127..!?I created an x7u file using the sample robot and added it to the montage. It only plays at a velocity of 127. Which option should I touch to respond from 1 to 127? thank you
Note that under the I/O tab, I usually have Channel set to 1, Program set to 1 and the Chg box 'checked', then I adjust the Attack Velocity of each Multisample to a different number.
I also usually export to an x7l file instead of an x7u, load it as a library (so that my User area is not wiped), and 'Library Import' the Performance + Waveforms from the new library into User area memory. Then I delete that new SampleRobot created library...
Hope this helps!
