If you imported the wav sample into a Part that has Settings > Zone Transmit > Sustain set to "Off", then that 'could' explain why it's not sustaining. You would want to ensure that Sustain is set to "On" for that 'Part'. If you can hold the note with your finger (instead of the sustain pedal) for as long as you want, then this also likely indicates that the Sustain parameter is set to "Off" on the Part.
If Sustain is set to "On" for the Part, but it's still not sustaining, ensure that the Element containing the wav sample has the Amplitude > Amp EG > Decay & Release set high enough.
If all of this is set properly for sustain, but the wav sample is still not sustaining (and even if you hold the note with your finger on the key it stops sounding out), then it is likely that the sample only has so many seconds of time that it will play. In this case, if you need it to play/sound out longer with sustain, you will need to add loop points to the sample, then re-import it again.
