I had the really stupid, stupid issue that the soundmondo page wasn't maximized on my computer screen, it was slightly off center and it wouldn't sync until I re-centered or maximized the screen. Forget which but then it worked. Probably spent hours and cursing too. I was using a small laptop and you couldn't really tell the screen was not aligned. The software considers it an error of some sort and doesn't connect such as the page isn't open when it is open. Yamaha doesn't know how to program anyway they are just learning so it's a problem unless you get lucky.
