Thank you so much for your in depth response man, I truly appreciated. As a side note, I ran into an old thread where you replied to which was also in regards to the EX5 over at the Korg forum. So you can disregard that!
I ended up making an offer for the EX5 and the seller said he'll check price trends and get back at me. I did see some units that were sold for as low as $506 on ebay (using the completed listings advance search). But, as you said these thing can vary from seller to seller, depending on so many factors.
The unit he is selling is not in mint condition. Since your replied he's sent me additional pictures. It has some marks, scuffs, and pretty visible scratch on the left side, plus the volume gain knob is missing. His unit has no extra memory, options, or upgrades. Just a basic good old EX5 in good functioning condition, he confirmed that no buttons are sticky, no keys are loose, FDD works, after touch works, LCD is still nice and bright.
I did notice that the after market flash memory is pretty expensive tho (thank for that link btw). And if I were to swamp the FDD for a USB emulator, those go for around $100 too.
Thanks again for your input, I truly appreciate it.
