Longtime Halion user and what you guys are probably gonna get is one of the engines in Halion that you don’t have. It’s my strong suspicion that Halion 7 and the Montage are essentially the same core “engine” with different sub engines.
It took us FOREVER to get from version 6 to 7 and that only happened when the Montage M dropped. So you guys have missing: wavetable. Spectral. Granular. Organ.
You’re getting one of those. Probably.

One of the things I noticed from version 7 to version 6 is Yamaha/Steinberg really tightened up triggering multiple sounds at one time. It was mega sloppy in version 6. 7 sounds different. Better. Also, you guys got that scope feature that we got as well.
