Hello Everyone,
Infrequent visitor here but total Yam-head nonetheless!
A 1979 SA2000 has come up for sale recently, so I drove out to have a look. Overall in good shape with beautiful “cherry” finish, even with a touch of the vintage clouding.
However, I was wondering about the bridge stud bushings. Do they look stock to you? I am worried about buying it and then finding it needs an(other?) expensive repair. I looked online and found a few photos of the tail end of the guitar and some stud bushings look similar, but I thought I’d check with the experts.
FWIW, I have included a photo of the bridge from my similar vintage SG1500 (black). Somehow the labels got mixed up!
Thank you!
