I know we're just now getting this going but oddly I'm wondering why I can only use it on half my screen?
Not to mention mine won't drag to any place I want it on my screen.
I have a 43" CAD station monitor and maybe it's my screen resolution & scaling settings. Ok that worked but I still can't drag in around to other areas on my screen if I have several programs up at once.
Sorry I solved my own issue I forgot my mouse button is defective so it wasn't grabbing to drag properly.
So just getting into this but looks impressive especially being able to view stuff that was hard to find or hidden on the Montage unit.
The elements waveform list is a breeze to browse and to comprehend what all is happening. We might actually learn how to use the Montage M now that we have assistance like this. Smart decision by Yamaha to make learning almost fun.
I changed out the photos to provide some scale to the screen monitor using my very modest KLH "near field" desktop monitors.
I might be overcompensating for something but I'll never admit to comparing super knobs.
Even better scale now. I keep attempting to grab and rotate that damn virtual 3D super knob
On the Yamaha synth forum I could never get an photos to upload no matter if I matched their parameters & format or not. Thankfully this forum actually works.
I will admit that Yamaha was seriously challenged by Roland when it came to colors, graphics and bright shiny flashy light shows but now Yamaha rules the day. Sometimes I just sit for hours and watch the lights on the M and wish I had a clue what I was doing.![applause ((i))]()
I beg your pardon I'm not showing off, I'm old, blind and can't hear straight but that's true I draw thousands of lines daily on CAD so I need a big monitor. A really big monitor![Geek :geek:]()
