I'm using the FC5 pedal, flat, square, quarter-inch jack, and it's not a "latching" type. I'm also using another FC5 for the other pedal-input to step through the stored registration sequence #'s. I've swapped them and it didn't fix it. BTW, I want the "fill" pedal to have "+" polarity and am using the sequence pedal with "-" polarity (with no problems). I don't know if I have a sustain type pedal in my closet. I'll let you know if I do and that works.
