I suggest you download it while you still can. There may be some useful tidbits of info in it.
Page 10 covers a 'Dissaembly Procedure'. You might read through that and see if the steps you followed are as described in the doc.
And don't forget a common cause of unintentional damaga: static electricity. Be sure to use a grounding strap or otherwise make sure you and your hands and tools are 'static free'.
