Soneg: completely agree! *exactly* this; it depends on the music genre. G2 is miles ahead of everyone else in orchestral/bigband/jazz drums,brass, woodwinds and strings *but* the Pa5x (especially the drums) is just dominant when it comes to pop/rock/r&b/hip hop. As you say, the Yamaha's drums (especially the kick, except for the new "Production Kit") are really hard to place in a mix.
