Yamaha Montage and Montage M Forum • Portamento of string sounds in Montage

Hello everybody!
In a brief introduction, I'm from Brazil, a new user of the forum and last year I purchased a Montage. I'm very happy with its features, despite being a synthesizer, it offers many options for acoustic instruments and can even serve as an arranger keyboard with its arps. In addition to studying sound synthesis, I like to use strings to play classical music on the keyboard and I am creating some performances where I record a pattern to serve as a background for me to play solo violin in the Vivaldi pieces that I like most. It's hard work, but I think the patterns will serve you in perpetuity once completed.

Moving on to a very specific issue that I think is a problem, not only with Montage, but with almost all other brands, with similar keyboards, I think that string sounds, when they require connected notes when playing a song ("legato", which we do when we set the timbre to "mono"), portamento sounds very unpleasant, in a very synthetic way. I cite as a current example that there are string libraries for Musescore (free software whose purpose is to create scores) whose note binding action is very realistic, leaving the instruments closer to an original acoustic.

I don't know what your opinion is, but with high-cost machines like the Montage and many others, shouldn't the manufacturers have already thought of something to improve this? Or does anyone know if there are third-party string libraries available for Montage that have already overcome this issue?
I know that there are ways to use the keyboard as a controller for other advanced computing resources, but I'm one of those who want less hardware without compromising on quality, I just like using the keyboard for its own sake.
Thanks!
