The Sy Edit software has such a complicated but resilient history. There is an updated version of it available for newer 64 bit systems. (info below)
To access the updated 64 bit version and expanded patch database join the group tg33sy2235 at groups.io

2 particularly useful files there are:
1. Filename: 'SY Edit-Win7-x64.zip'
Rich Hanson's SY22/SY35/TG33 editor program for Windows 7/8/10 64-bit
2. Filename: 'Sample SY Edit Database.zip' (expanded with other 2000 patches)
Additional sounds and Java conversion programs that can be used with Rich Hanson's SY Edit program, including compatibility with the SY35 Voice Editor by dasfaker that was part of CTRLR.org .
(To replace the Sy Edit Database with this version read the included file 'Sample SY Edit Readme.txt')
As I understand it Richard Hanson developed SY Edit up to version 2.1. User Zajebca from the Gearspace forums was able to recompile it for 64 bit, but seems to have used the older 2.02 version (probably didn't know about the 2.1 version).
And lastly Greg Holwell seems to have compiled some resources for the SY22/35/TG33 systems at Groups.io. This includes a Sample database you can replace the SY Edit database with which includes over 2000 sounds.
(I could have some of these details wrong, and I hope they are corrected if anyone has better details)
Enjoy!
