I always loved "The Northern Lights" by Renaissance when I was a teenager, but got into the band, much, much later around 15 years ago when I was listening to a lot of internet radio, and my favourite channels played songs like Ocean Gypsy and Song Of Scheherazade and I was instantly hooked again.
Whoever had the idea of a Prog band with a singer with a five octave vocal range (Annie Haslam), with orchestral arrangements instead of electric guitar parts, was, well, progressive! And it was Jon's bass that drove the band along when needed.
